Our Instructors at Tula Yoga are versed in the many styles of Yoga so our students are able to explore and develop a practice unique to themselves. Each one of our experienced instructors brings their own personal approach to their classes, yet all contain the same passion to educate, inspire, and share the practice of Yoga and Fitness with others.

 

Jennifer Cavalieri - Studio Owner (E-RYT 200, RYT 500)


jennifer-headshot-smJennifer has been practicing Yoga since 2004 and has since completed her 300 & 500 Hour Certification with The American Yoga Academy and is a registered member with Yoga Alliance. She is also a certified Pilates Fitness Instructor. Jennifer holds a BA in Marketing from Kean University and worked in the corporate world for many years before discovering Yoga. After finding her love for Yoga Jennifer decided to leave corporate America to pursue her passion as a career. Before opening Tula Yoga, Jennifer previously worked for The American Yoga Academy as the Director of the 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training where she helped train several hundred students to become Certified Yoga Instructors. Jennifer discovered her passion was not only teaching Yoga, but that she has a natural gift for training students as well. Her drive and enthusiasm has inspired so many of her students to follow their dreams of pursuing Yoga as a career as she continues to do.

 

Jennifer's goal is to bring Yoga, Meditation, and Health & Wellness into her community and make it accessible to everyone. Yoga has truly transformed her life, and she hopes to share the benefits of this practice with others. As she continues to study and practice Yoga & Meditation through various workshops and trainings, Jennifer is dedicated to educating and teaching people the true meaning of Yoga. As you will experience when taking one of her classes, Jennifer believes Yoga should NOT be intimidating.... it should be inspiring, light- hearted and always FUN !

    

 Lisa Mandragona 

LisaBioPhotoA 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Lisa continues her own Asana practice and training. Lisa’s extensive training includes Iyengar Yoga, Restorative and Hatha Yoga Alignment as well as Yoga Nidra, Meditation and Chakra Balancing. Grateful each moment for the many facets of color and light Yoga continues to illuminate on her life, Lisa’s profound joy is to guide others in witnessing their own physical, emotional and spiritual light. Her style of teaching is very nurturing and loving with an innate sense of spirituality and humor. Combine that with personalized attention, alignment and guidance and we have a formula for success!  Lisa also infuses her creative background in art and design to develop unique themes and sequences for her students. She thanks all of her teachers, family, friends and students for their everlasting encouragement and support. They continue to inspire her to give back what Yoga has brought to her.

 

 

 Lauren Cap

After taking her first yogLauren Pica class as a way to relieve anxiety and stress, Lauren knew this would become a life long practice. She received her certification from Prana Power Yoga NYC and is grateful for her Prana family. She teaches a heartfelt Vinyasa flow focusing on building strength, breath control, and proper alignment. She encourages self expression, acceptance, listening to one's body, and finding the true teacher in all of us. Since discovering the healing benefits of her yoga practice both mentally and physically, she has opened up to its infinite possibilities and wants to share the joy and peace that she has found. She is thankful to Jill Miller's Yoga Tune Up teachings for showing her that the truly advanced always know when to modify.

 

 

 Kitty Blincoe

 Kitty Blincoe is a RYT 500, E-RYT 200, AromaReiki practitioner, motivational speaker and yoga teacher trainer in NJ who specializes in therapeutic yoga and meditation for managing stress, insomnia or cancer. Breath awareness, mindful movement and creative intelligent sequencing drawn from various lineages are key foundations of each class. Expect an uplifting and fun playlist in a safe and caring environment. "Like a big hug" said one workshop participant. Nurture your Mind, Body & Soul and come smile with Kitty! 

 

 

 

Rosie Lazroe     

rosieRosie Lazroe's classes offer a beautiful fusion of breath and body alignment to evoke a sense of calm even in the most challenging of postures. Since discovering yoga in 1998, her style has evolved into a fusion of Iyengar inspired, Vinyasa, Kundalini, and Naam Yoga. Musical accompaniment, from soothing piano to sacred mantras to grooving drum beats is another feature that is always weaved into each class to add an element of fun and flow. Rosie discovered the joys of a consistent yoga practice while studying Early Childhood Education at Montclair University in Montclair, NJ. In 2004 she combined her love of yoga with her educational background and began teaching Kids Yoga to children ages 2-6 at Community Montessori Academy in Verona, NJ. In 2009 she obtained her 200 hour yoga certification at StarSeed Yoga in Montclair, NJ and has been teaching yoga to both adults and children ever since.  

  

Nicole Cunicella

Nicole Nicole discovered yoga about 8 years ago, and has been hooked ever since. She began practicing as a form of exercise, but immediately fell in love with the beauty and spirituality of the practice. Nicole received her 200 hour certification from Tula Yoga and is thrilled to be teaching at Tula! Her goal is to bring peace, happiness, balance, healing and love to all through yoga, and to connect students to their inner strength and healthiest selves.
 

 

 

  Taylor Pojero

taylor 1 A former dancer of ten years, Taylor discovered Yoga only three short years ago as result of a spinal condition. She was instantly fascinated by the physical and mental nutritive capabilities of practicing, not only for herself but for others, leading her to receive her 200 hour certification from Yoga Alliance as a part of Tula Yoga's first teacher training program.  Her classes focus on developing appreciation and gratitude for ones strengths and, even more so, their weakness by challenging each student to enjoy their journey through the physical practice of yoga. 

 

 

  Allison Sorokin

allison In 2009 a herniated disk left Allison unable to walk. She realized that sitting at a desk for 8+ hours a day could no longer be in her future. She had an ‘aha’ moment during physical therapy she recognized how similar some of the exercises were to yoga poses! In 2011 Allison set out on her journey to learn how to teach others this powerful practice. Every time Allison gets on the mat, it’s an invitation to remember her wholeness, which can get lost in our modern world of more, more, more.  The practice of Yoga has helped Allison find acceptance and confidence to move into her authentic self. Allison's classes embody alignment and flow. She loves to make people laugh while pushing them to be their best selves. She loves to build up a good sweat and then melt into a puddle on the floor. Allison is a 500 hour RYT from Yoga works of NYC, a yoga methodology that combines the therapeutic qualities of BKS Iyengar and the power of Vinyasa via Ashtanga Yoga.
