Our Teachers

Our Instructors at Tula Yoga are versed in the many styles of Yoga so our students are able to explore and develop a practice unique to themselves. Each one of our experienced instructors brings their own personal approach to their classes, yet all contain the same passion to educate, inspire, and share the practice of Yoga and Fitness with others.


Jennifer Cavalieri - Studio Owner (E-RYT 200, RYT 500)

jennifer-headshot-smJennifer has been practicing Yoga since 2004 and has since completed her 300 & 500 Hour Certification with The American Yoga Academy and is a registered member with Yoga Alliance. She is also a certified Pilates Fitness Instructor. Jennifer holds a BA in Marketing from Kean University and worked in the corporate world for many years before discovering Yoga. After finding her love for Yoga Jennifer decided to leave corporate America to pursue her passion as a career. Before opening Tula Yoga, Jennifer previously worked for The American Yoga Academy as the Director of the 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training where she helped train several hundred students to become Certified Yoga Instructors. Jennifer discovered her passion was not only teaching Yoga, but that she has a natural gift for training students as well. Her drive and enthusiasm has inspired so many of her students to follow their dreams of pursuing Yoga as a career as she continues to do.


Jennifer's goal is to bring Yoga, Meditation, and Health & Wellness into her community and make it accessible to everyone. Yoga has truly transformed her life, and she hopes to share the benefits of this practice with others. As she continues to study and practice Yoga & Meditation through various workshops and trainings, Jennifer is dedicated to educating and teaching people the true meaning of Yoga. As you will experience when taking one of her classes, Jennifer believes Yoga should NOT be intimidating.... it should be inspiring, light- hearted and always FUN !


 Lisa Mandragona 

LisaBioPhotoA 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Lisa continues her own Asana practice and training. Lisa’s extensive training includes Iyengar Yoga, Restorative and Hatha Yoga Alignment as well as Yoga Nidra, Meditation and Chakra Balancing. Grateful each moment for the many facets of color and light Yoga continues to illuminate on her life, Lisa’s profound joy is to guide others in witnessing their own physical, emotional and spiritual light. Her style of teaching is very nurturing and loving with an innate sense of spirituality and humor. Combine that with personalized attention, alignment and guidance and we have a formula for success!  Lisa also infuses her creative background in art and design to develop unique themes and sequences for her students. She thanks all of her teachers, family, friends and students for their everlasting encouragement and support. They continue to inspire her to give back what Yoga has brought to her.



 Lauren Cap

After taking her first yogLauren Pica class as a way to relieve anxiety and stress, Lauren knew this would become a life long practice. She received her certification from Prana Power Yoga NYC and is grateful for her Prana family. She teaches a heartfelt Vinyasa flow focusing on building strength, breath control, and proper alignment. She encourages self expression, acceptance, listening to one's body, and finding the true teacher in all of us. Since discovering the healing benefits of her yoga practice both mentally and physically, she has opened up to its infinite possibilities and wants to share the joy and peace that she has found. She is thankful to Jill Miller's Yoga Tune Up teachings for showing her that the truly advanced always know when to modify.  


Nicole Cunicella

Nicole Nicole discovered yoga about 8 years ago, and has been hooked ever since. She began practicing as a form of exercise, but immediately fell in love with the beauty and spirituality of the practice. Nicole received her 200 hour certification from Tula Yoga and is thrilled to be sharing her passion with others! Her goal is to bring peace, happiness, balance, healing and love to all through yoga, and to connect students to their inner strength and healthiest selves.



  Taylor Pojero

taylor 1 A former dancer of ten years, Taylor discovered Yoga only three short years ago as result of a spinal condition. She was instantly fascinated by the physical and mental nutritive capabilities of practicing, not only for herself but for others, leading her to receive her 200 hour certification from Yoga Alliance as a part of Tula Yoga's first teacher training program.  Her classes focus on developing appreciation and gratitude for ones strengths and, even more so, their weakness by challenging each student to enjoy their journey through the physical practice of yoga. 




Ellena Pol

ElenaEllena Pol is 500 hour Registered Yoga Instructor and registered Yoga Therapist. Elle discovered Yoga while attending high school in London, and as a result has now personally experienced over 30 different cultures. With a formal education and background in Music and International business she has been practicing Yoga for several years and has been teaching for the better part of two years. She received both her 200 and 500 hour Certification in 2013 from YogaWorks through Elevate Yoga. Elle’s 'agent of change' attitude is vibrant. Her ultimate goal is to bring yoga to the masses, and teach others how to live more fulfilled and inspired lives.




 Stephanie Stillman

stephanie pic When Stephanie suffered a life changing injury in 2009, which left her unable to walk for several months, she was told she “would never be the same.” Now, not only does Stephanie practice yoga everyday but is a 200 Hour Certified Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance as well as a certified Reiki Practitioner. Stephanie received her certification from Tula Yoga in Aberdeen, NJ. Stephanie’s understanding, love and teaching of the true essence of yoga; uniting the body, mind and soul, is evident through humor, motivation, guidance, appreciation, and acceptance of her students. Her desire to constantly learn the world of yoga is ever evolving and continuing for both her own yoga practice and her teachings to her students as well. “Your true yoga starts on your mat but continues with your journey in life. I know that anything is possible because of my personal journey in life and yoga.” Stephanie’s goal is to inspire others to never give up and guide her students through their own personal Yoga journey with an open heart and mind.
